Our Japan Story🇯🇵

In 1988, Christopher moved to Japan from Australia to broaden his career in teaching. Despite his initial plan to stay for just a few years, he fell in love with the country and decided to call Japan home. He recently moved back to Australia after living in Japan for over 30 years. Callum and Rhys were both born in Tokyo and lived there until they graduated from the American School in Japan. Christopher is now based in Sydney, Callum in Melbourne, and Rhys in Brisbane. Although we do not live in Tokyo anymore, it will always be our home.

All three of us speak Japanese, have a passion for learning and teaching, and have acquired insights from working across different fields of endeavor. We wanted to combine these experiences and start an ESL (English as a Second Language) tutoring service. Our goal is to use our backgrounds in Japan and a multi-disciplinary approach to provide a fresh perspective to the study of English.

We are a premium online tutoring service for individuals who are seeking:

  • an alternative pathway to learning English

  • exclusive English lessons

  • to learn from home

  • personalised lessons

  • choice in learning

  • a friendly family team

  • dedicated mentors

If this matches your goals, please get in touch with us. We look forward to meeting you soon!
